TAWK — Travelling Australia With Kids — was born over 15 years ago from a love of family, adventure and the belief that some of life’s greatest memories are made on the road.
Today, that legacy, created by Mandy, the founder of TAWK, continues through sisters Tara and Chelsey, who may travel in very different ways, but share the same passion — helping Australian families get out there and experience this incredible country together.
Tara is our full-time traveller.
For over four years, she travelled Australia with her three children, calling the road home and experiencing the highs, the challenges, the unexpected adventures and the unforgettable moments that come with travelling Australia as a family.
She knows first-hand that travelling with kids can be incredible… but it can also be expensive! From fuel and food to campsites, attractions and all those “Mum, I need this!” moments along the way 😂.
Then there’s Chelsey — our weekend warrior and school-holiday queen. ❤️
She proves that you don't need to sell the house, pack up your entire life or travel for months at a time to create incredible family memories.
Sometimes it's a spontaneous weekend away.
Sometimes it's a school holiday adventure.
Sometimes it's simply finding somewhere new just a couple of hours from home.

Alongside Tara and Chelsey is their slowly growing team, including Meg, who has poured her time, creativity and passion into creating the new TAWK website and helping bring the next chapter of TAWK to life.
