If you’ve ever tried to put household sheets on a caravan bed, you’ll know the struggle. Caravan, motorhome and RV mattresses can be a tricky size. They’re often a little shorter or narrower than a standard bed, many have rounded corners at the foot end, and no two vans seem to be quite the same.
The good news is that measuring your mattress only takes a few minutes, and it’s the best way to make sure your sheets fit beautifully from the first night.

A few tips from us
- Measure the mattress, not the bed base. The base is often a different size.
- Take the sheets off first. That way you're measuring the mattress itself, not the bedding.
- Note your numbers somewhere handy, So you have them every time you shop for bedding.
